Vermont's Only Play Café. Now Open: Come In Play a While
At Play Café VT, we believe in the power of community, connection, and a really good cup of coffee. Our journey began with a simple dream — to create a space where everyone feels at home.
As mothers and wives, we understand how busy and challenging it can be to raise kiddos — the juggling act, the exhaustion, and the longing to find your village. We know the feeling of visiting a café or restaurant and worrying that you or your kids can’t truly be yourselves. That’s why we started Play Café VT — a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can exhale, connect, and just be.
Here, laughter is encouraged, messes are expected, and you’re always greeted with open arms — just the way you are.
While we are proud to be starting this journey in Lamoille County we hope to expand soon to Chittenden County. Stay tuned!

Originally from California, Asia has called Vermont home for the past 20 years. She lives in Jeffersonville with her wonderful husband, Eli, and their beautiful daughter, Evangeline.
Creating Play Café VT has always been Asia’s dream — to build a space where parents can connect, children can explore, and community can flourish. Together with her sister, Portia, she brought that dream to life, combining their shared passion for family, faith, and community. Inspired by the desire to watch her daughter grow up in an environment where she can thrive, Asia blended her love for great coffee, imaginative play, and meaningful connection to make that vision a reality.

Born and raised in Southern California, I’ve called Lamoille County home for the past 20 years. My husband Michael and I live in Johnson with our three wonderful children — Evalette, Aileeanna, and Orion.
As a homeschool mom and longtime childcare advocate, I’ve always had a heart for family, community, and creating spaces where children can thrive. I currently serve alongside my husband as co-director of our church’s children’s ministry and love finding ways to bring people together through creativity and connection.
At my core, I’m a lover of Jesus, family, and the simple joys in life — a cozy cup of tea, game nights, crafting, and the warmth of home. My hope for Play Café VT is to offer that same sense of comfort and belonging — a place where families can relax, connect, and have fun together.
